Job Summary
Assist Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor for pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates- procurement and tendering- tender evaluation- cash-flow forecast- contract administration- variation and final account- etc.
Prepare the taking-off from drawings and pricing for cost estimates and tender documents- etc.
Assist Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor or act as representative to attend meetings and site inspections when required
Comply with the Company`s QA requirements and best practice
Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment- Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy
Minimum Requirements
Graduates with Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying and above
Holders of Bachelor degree in Quantity Survey will have advantage

Preferred Qualifications

Preferably with strong interest in working on large-scale residential- commercial and/or hotel projects for private sector developers- and/or building works and/or civil infrastructure works projects in the public sector

Fast learner with enthusiasm and ambition for success

Good leadership and interpersonal skills with capability to work independently

Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese

Responsibilities:

Senior project leader for pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates- procurement and tendering- tender evaluation- cashflow forecast- contract administration- variation- final account- etc.

Supervise and manage the taking off from drawings and pricing for cost estimates- tender documents- etc.

Leading and coaching junior staff in delivery of services- including checking on the works done by junior staff

Collaborate and develop good relationship with clients and stakeholders internally and externally

Attend meetings and site inspections when required

Comply with the Company`s QA requirements and best practice

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor degree holder in Quantity Surveying discipline or equivalent

Minimum 6 years experience in quantity surveying

Corporate Member of Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors or equivalent

Good leadership and interpersonal skills- able to work independently and lead a team

Fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese

Final title offered will depend on actual experience and competencies for the position

Job Summary
We now have opportunities for Assistant Quantity Surveyors- Quantity
Surveyors- and Project Quantity Surveyors to join AECOM where you will be
seconded out to the Hong Kong Airport Authority to assist on the tender
preparation and contract execution of the existing infrastructure and terminal
facilities enhancement works or new capital works projects. You will help to
ensure projects are delivered smoothly- in compliance with the contract
requirements and within budgets.
Responsibilities:

Responsible to prepare contract documentations- estimates- tender- monitoring and resolving of all the contractual matters of the projects;

Liaison with contractors and consultants;

Assess and monitor the contract costs;

Monitor the materials and works on sites;

Assessment of Variation Orders and Claims in costs and delays;

Mainly serve Civil Team;

Prepare tender document including pricing document and measurement for work / minor works contracts;

General post-contract administration including payment- VO assessment- EOT assessment- final account settlement- etc;

Final account vetting and assessment of Star Rates for instruction base maintenance contract.

Mainly serve Civil Team.

Minimum Requirements

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor shall be either:

A holder of a recognized degree in quantity surveying or construction cost management or engineering or other related disciplines- with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience

A holder of diploma in quantity surveying or construction cost management or engineering or other related disciplines and shall possess not less than 8 years of relevant working experience

The Quantity Surveyor shall be:

A holder of a recognized degree in quantity surveying or construction cost management or engineering or other related disciplines- with a minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience

The Project Quantity Surveyor shall be:

A holder of a recognized degree in quantity surveying or construction cost management or engineering or other related disciplines- and shall have a professional qualification gained from recognized professional bodies- with a minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience

A competitive salary with a 5-day work week will be offered with the
opportunity to jump straight onto a live project at the Hong Kong Airport.
This appointment will be made on a renewable contract basis.
